I heard about this thing called the Advent Conspiracy a couple weeks ago, but I never really looked into what it actually was. Well, today a friend of mine sent me this video that is about the campaign. As I watched it, something inside of me was awakened. What if we actually did this? Like, for real did this. What kind of change do you think we'd see?

ReplyDeleteImagine if the churches in Central Ontario used their resources to help out the less fortunate, instead of building these monuments to themselves. (ex: Big fancy church buildings withy a "walk-of-fame" outside for all their former pastors.)
ReplyDeleteChristmas starts with the individual. I agree though with moving away from the commercialism aspect, because it leads nowhere inside the vicious circle. Bring "gifts" to the less fortunate. Remember, "What would Jesus do?".
