Sidney Crosby is making his first trip out west this week and the reaction from fans is unbelieveable. He played in Edmonton tonight and got a standing ovation from the Edmontonian crowd. How does that happen?!? Edmonton, the city that lives and dies with the Oilers is cheering (quite enthusiastically) for the opposition's best player. It makes no sense to me. The fan fare that surrounds this guy is crazy. He said in his press conference today that he's banished to his hotel room, ordering room service for this trip to Canada's left coast because of all the hype around his visit. He's one special player.
