Wear Something Gaudy Day

Today is "Wear Something Gaudy Day" a day to dress up and look as un-fashionable as possible. It got me thinking... Who makes up these days? Seriously this has got to be one of the dumbest "days" going... No wait, tomorrow is "No Beard Day" that might make it a tie. I guess it's fun to have something different for each day of the year, but no one ever follows these. If you would have showed up at school wearing something gaudy, would anyone have known is was a special day? Probably not. My thinking is if you're going to make a "day," at least market it so people know.
